ARESYS offers a 20+ years of expertise in designing and developing on-board and on-ground systems with a vertical specialization in microwawe ( Radar, SAR) and Optical technologies.
In Future Mission SAR Business Unit, We are looking for a SAR System Engineer.
The Future Mission SAR team works at the cutting‑edge level of the radar systems: the concept and design of SAR missions. We are involved in thinking, designing, and implementing new radar technologies, developing the early phases of the mission, testing the system performance, and providing support to the simulation and end‑to‑end teams.
The job position is in the Rome facility.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Working in team, providing support to specific analysis, algorithm implementation or software updates
- Design missions based on trade‑off between instrument, performance, and system limits
- Follow the project under supervision of the Team Leader and provide delivery in due deadlines.
Required skills:
- Knowledge of the basics of SAR system
- Good algorithms and mathematics knowledge
- Capability to prepare a scientific paper and present it in a conference
- Knowledge of mathematics behind orbit mechanics and optimization methods
- Knowledge of the mission phases organization in space industry
Your background:
- Degree: Master’s, or Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, or Electronic Engineering
- Programming capability (Matlab or Python, better both)
