Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job Description

Join our team and play a key role in supporting the evolution and performance optimization of SAP S/4HANA digital platforms, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing architectural solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.

Your missions

• Design and evolve solution architecture for SAP S/4HANA platforms and connected systems
• Define architectural guidelines, integration patterns, and best practices
• Support performance optimization initiatives through telemetry analysis and monitoring tools
• Collaborate with developers and platform teams to ensure correct implementation of architectural designs
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability of digital platforms
• Participate in technical governance, architecture reviews, and strategic roadmap definition
• Support the transition from legacy systems to modern, cloud-enabled ecosystems
• Conduct capacity planning, sizing pre go-live, and bottleneck analysis (DB, network, app layer)
• Analyze infrastructure metrics (CPU, memory, I/O, thread pool, GC)
• Lead end-to-end performance engineering initiatives

Your profile

• Experience in Solution Architecture or Platform Architecture roles (7+ years)
• Strong experience with SAP ecosystems, preferably SAP S/4HANA
• Proven experience in designing scalable, high-performance enterprise architectures
• Experience with system integration, APIs, and distributed architectures
• Strong understanding of platform performance optimization and monitoring concepts (telemetry, observability, logging, metrics)
• Experience working in complex enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture solutions
• Strong knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP is a plus)
• Experience with architecture frameworks and best practices
• SAP S/4HANA architecture knowledge
• SAP HANA performance concepts
• Integration technologies (REST APIs, middleware, event-driven architecture)
• Monitoring and telemetry tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• Cloud-native architecture principles
• Front-end architecture understanding is a plus
• English fluent. Additional languages are a plus.
