We are seeking a Senior SAP MM Consultant with strong expertise in Logistics Execution and Supply Chain processes to join a long-term S4/HANA project engagement supporting both project delivery and Application Maintenance Services ( AMS ).

• Duration: 12 months (with strong possibility of extension)
• Location: Milan, Italy
• Work Model: Hybrid – 30% onsite in Milan / 70% remote

Scope:

The successful candidate will play a key role in complex SAP environments, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to support logistics operations, warehouse management processes, and SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives. This position is ideal for a senior consultant who is comfortable working independently, managing priorities, and contributing to large-scale industrial and manufacturing programs.

• Analyze, support, and optimize logistics and supply chain processes, with a focus on SAP Materials Management (MM) and Logistics Execution.
• Support warehouse management operations, including inbound and outbound logistics processes.
• Participate in SAP S/4HANA transformation projects, including both greenfield and brownfield implementations.
• Provide Application Maintenance Services (AMS), ensuring stable and efficient operation of SAP solutions.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within complex and customized SAP environments.
• Perform root cause analysis and collaborate with technical teams to implement sustainable solutions.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective SAP solutions.
• Support testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
• Contribute to process improvements and best practice adoption across logistics and supply chain functions.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and operational support.

Skills:

• Minimum 5+ years of strong hands-on expertise in SAP MM (Materials Management).
• Solid knowledge of SAP Logistics Execution processes.
• Proven experience in warehouse management, inbound logistics, outbound logistics, and supply chain operations.
• Experience working within industrial and manufacturing environments.
• Strong background supporting complex SAP project implementations and AMS engagements.
• Experience participating in SAP S/4HANA transformation programs, including greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Knowledge of ABAP debugging, with the ability to independently analyze and troubleshoot issues within customized SAP landscapes.
• Ability to work effectively in complex, integrated SAP environments.
• Fluent in Italian and English
• Ability to work autonomously and manage assigned activities independently.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Results-oriented approach with a strong focus on quality and deadlines.
