SAP PMO Director

We are seeking an experienced SAP PMO Director to lead and oversee enterprise-level SAP transformation programs. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of managing large-scale, end-to-end SAP initiatives and driving successful delivery in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the PMO function for SAP transformation programs, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and business objectives.
  • Govern and monitor program delivery, ensuring adherence to PMO frameworks, standards, and best practices (PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe/Agile-at-Scale, or SAP Activate).
  • Oversee planning, execution, and reporting across multiple SAP implementation and migration projects, including SAP S/4HANA programs .
  • Manage program risks, dependencies, and escalations with foresight, ensuring issues are addressed before they impact delivery.
  • Act as the bridge between CIO-level stakeholders and on-the-ground IT delivery teams , balancing strategic oversight with operational detail.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers and PMO staff, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement .

Required Skills & Experience

  • Certifications : PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe/Agile-at-Scale, and/or SAP Activate (mandatory).
  • Experience :
  • Minimum 5+ years in PMO or project leadership roles on large-scale, end-to-end SAP implementation programs .
  • At least 2+ years leading SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects , with preference for greenfield implementations and/or ERP consolidation scenarios .
  • Strong expertise across SAP domains including supply chain, logistics, and production modules .
  • Demonstrated ability to manage diverse stakeholders – from executive leadership to technical delivery teams.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills , with the ability to anticipate and mitigate risks proactively.
  • Track record of delivering results under pressure in high-stakes transformation environments .
