Senior Consultant: SAP HCM - Italian Payroll
Role Objective
- To support the Italian Payroll area during periods of high delivery pressure. The consultant will work under the direction of the Head of SAP HCM Payroll to ensure accurate system configuration, requirements gathering, and the execution of urgent payroll-related activities.
- Core Requirements and Logistics
- Primary Skill Set: SAP HCM Payroll with a focus on Italian localization and legal requirements.
- Target Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Typically 3 to 6 months.
- Location: Must be based in Italy. 100% Remote, with occasional short onsite visits to collect project requirements (typically in Rome or at client sites) - expenses paid
- Working Hours: Flexible, determined by the urgency of payroll activities and project deadlines.
- Language: Proficiency in Italian is essential for payroll legalities and client requirements gathering. English is also essential.
Technical Expertise and Responsibilities
The consultant will be expected to:
- Requirements Gathering: Liaise with clients to collect and document specific functional requirements for payroll processes.
- SAP HCM Configuration: Perform technical configuration within the SAP HCM module, specifically focused on Payroll (PY)
- Payroll Processing: Support the "Area Sap HCM Payroll" in managing complex payroll runs, ensuring compliance with Italian labor laws.
- Project and Support: Provide a mix of new implementation support and AMS (Application Managed Services) as needs arise.
