SAP CoE Manager
Haier Europe seeks an experienced SAP CoE Manager to drive governance, standardization, and continuous improvement of SAP processes. The role will ensure alignment of SAP solutions with business strategy and serve as a reference point for all SAP system activities.
What You Will Do
As the SAP CoE Manager, you will play a central role in ensuring governance, standardization, and continuous improvement of SAP processes. You will act as a reference point for all SAP system activities, ensuring solutions are implemented, maintained, and optimized.
Main Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the SAP CoE strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Establish standards, methodologies, and best practices for SAP solutions.
- Oversee governance models for decision‑making, risk management, and approval workflows.
- Ensure clear ownership of platform administration, security, integration, and governance.
- Monitor the health of the SAP system, ensuring availability, performance, and security.
- Coordinate release, upgrade, and maintenance activities (Release Management).
- Resolve issues and, when necessary, raise escalations to AMS services.
- Support major incident resolution and provide operational, application, infrastructure, and change management support.
- Participate in project preparation, blueprinting, realization, final preparation, go‑live support, and run phases.
- Guarantee global business model adoption and promote innovation.
- Monitor system performance, integration, and external/internal suppliers for compliance.
- Lead technical solution design and effort estimation for new SAP solutions.
- Manage the CAB and related Release/Change management processes.
- Monitor the SAP project portfolio to ensure production environment safety.
- Support IT governance in defining the SOD risk matrix.
Support and Innovation
- Provide second‑level support for complex incidents.
- Promote adoption of new SAP features and innovation initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing and optimizing business processes and system design.
- Support AMS and user training/experience.
Collaboration
- Act as an interface between IT and business, facilitating communication.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams and external suppliers.
- Enable effective collaboration between technical teams and business stakeholders.
What You Need To Succeed
Must Have
- In‑depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and core modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, EWM).
- Experience with SAP module customization and optimization.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori UX and embedded analytics.
- Understanding of master data management and data governance.
- Experience in SAP integration, security, and architecture.
Education
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
Professional experience
7+ years managing SAP architecture from a project management, service management, and IT governance standpoint.
Language
Fluent English (spoken and written).
