SAP Business Analyst

Position Summary :

The SAP Business Analyst will be part of Group IT Team and will act as a strategic business partner and drives systems and process innovation, as well as process efficiency and control. The SAP Business Analyst will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, support solution design, coordinate testing and assist with implementation activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirement Gathering: Work with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements and identify areas for process optimization within SAP SD and FI modules.
• Solution Design: Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications for the configuration and customizations of SAP solutions.
• Configuration: Configure and customize SAP SD and FI modules including areas like sales orders processing, deliveries (transportation, handling and costs), billing (SD), and financial accounting, controlling and reporting (SD-FI).
• Implementation: Lead the implementation solutions, managing project timelines and ensuring successful deployment.
• Testing: Develop and execute test plans and scripts to ensure the solution meets functional and business requirements.
• Integration: Collaborate to integrate the SD module with other SAP applications like Material Management (MM) and Financial (FI) and TMS (Transportation Module).
• Support & Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing functional and technical support to users and resolve issues within the SAP system.
• Training & Documentation: Map, develop and deliver end-user training and create comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and support procedures.
• Process Improvement: Analyze and improve existing financial processes within SAP, identify areas for AI automation and recommend best practices.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

Required Experience / Skills:

• Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or equivalent.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in an international industrial group.
• Relevant IT-specific qualifications and demonstrated technical knowledge in SAP Hana Private and Public Cloud – Expertise in SD module - Exposure on SAP FI and CO (Chart of accounts) modules, SAP BW and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• International exposure and experience with cross-border collaboration.
• Good level of technical English (written and spoken).

Work place: Group Headquarter, Milan , with domestic and international business travel (10% of time)
