SAP Ariba Lead

We are looking for a seasoned SAP Ariba Lead to oversee the delivery of SAP Ariba solutions across sourcing and procurement functions. This role requires a strong balance of technical expertise, process improvement capability, and stakeholder management to ensure successful deployment and adoption of Ariba modules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP Ariba modules, including (but not limited to): Sourcing, Guided Buying, Spend Analysis, and Supplier Management .
  • Act as the primary interface between Sourcing, IT, and external vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analyse and assess current sourcing and procurement processes , recommending improvements through the effective use of Ariba functionality.
  • Oversee system configuration, testing, training, and deployment to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
  • Drive change management initiatives , enabling user adoption and embedding new ways of working across the sourcing organization.
  • Manage project milestones, risks, and dependencies , ensuring on-time, quality delivery.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for Sourcing , ensuring effective communication and alignment with key business users.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record in SAP Ariba implementation projects , with hands-on delivery experience across multiple modules.
  • Strong understanding of sourcing and procurement processes , ideally gained within large-scale transformation programs.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to act as the bridge between business functions, IT, and third-party vendors.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse complex processes and recommend practical improvements leveraging Ariba capabilities.
  • Experience in project management , including planning, monitoring, and risk mitigation.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and training skills to drive user engagement and adoption .
