What we are looking for

  • Veterinary degree with ideally clinical experience.
  • C1 / C2 level in French; English is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in medical devices is a plus.

Your responsibilities

  • Clinical and health management of A1 and A2 animal facilities.
  • Working with large and small animals (pigs / mini pigs, sheep, goats, rabbits, and rodents).
  • Ensuring the clinical monitoring of animals (observations) in collaboration with veterinary technicians.
  • Assisting in the development of study protocols and the implementation of innovative medical devices in functional sites, particularly in relation to anaesthesia and analgesia.
  • Collaborate with operating room teams to define post-operative monitoring of animals that have undergone surgery.
  • Treat pathologies observed in animals (treatments, sanitary measures, etc.).
  • Ensure post-operative monitoring of animals.
  • Perform necropsies (adverse events and end of study).
  • Actively participate in the ethics committee and/or within the animal welfare structure.
  • Participate in maintaining authorizations or accreditation (DDPP, AAALAC).
  • Review procedures related to animal care.
  • Participate in pharmacy management.
  • Participate in the training of technical and scientific teams.

Location

Our office is located in Chasse-sur-Rhône in the Lyon area of France (easily accessible by train from Perrache or Jean Macé – 5-minute walk from the station).
