This position will be both based at the Grotta Giusti Thermal Spa Resort Tuscany, Autograph Collection and at the Bagni di Pisa Palace & Thermal Spa. The two locations are nearly 40 kilometers distanced. The board and lodging are not included for this job offer.
Role: Scope
Sales activities- Participate alongside colleagues in designated trade, service, and community associations.
- Supporting the sales department in representing Grotta Giusti and Bagni di Pisa on sales calls, workshops, and trade shows assigned by the manager.
- Monitor competitive hotels to ensure continual market share improvement, analyse and report the results.
- Pro‑actively plan and execute weekly sales appointments, sales promotion, and follow‑ups, "bring back old business" actions to achieve and exceed the revenue targets.
- Constantly and timely update CRM software with sales calls, account information, tasks, projects etc.
- Review customer base to determine new opportunities for account penetration.
- Contribute ideas to improve the products and services offered.
- Capitalize and leverage upon Marriott and LHW sales and marketing programs, resources, and international sales offices to maximise the impact of the Marriott and LHW system.
- Constantly develop the opportunities with territory and local community to increase revenues for Spa and F&B, organising and monitoring monthly events and promotions for non‑resident and resident guests.
- Help and assist the sales manager and the sales executive in digital and social media activities.
- Support the hotel in reporting, preparation of meetings and presentations.
Internal Communication activities
- Maintain a cooperative working relationship with other departments.
- Create a positive working environment and act as a team player.
- Make sure that brand standards are met at all levels and adjust where needed.
- Participate in meetings when required sharing key information on sales activities, special bookings, business forecasts, competition, etc.
- Prepare reports as required.
