As a Sales Specialist for Flexo Tapes at 3M Italy, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Responsibilities
- Develop end‑user customer relationships and applications to drive growth of the Flexographic Printing Tape portfolio, including demand generation programs.
- Partner with channel teams to execute growth initiatives, strategies, and programs.
- Translate division strategies into accountable partner plans, clearly articulating the flexo tapes value proposition, and delivering regular territory updates.
- Align with product managers and leverage prepress houses and industry associations to extend reach.
- Work cross‑functionally with marketing, technical service, pricing and supply chain to remove barriers and accelerate wins.
- Meet or exceed the designated sales quota in the assigned territory.
- Provide key market and customer insights to Industrial Specialties Division portfolio managers, marketing, application engineers and leadership.
- Effectively and consistently manage your opportunity pipeline, conduct strategic planning for new opportunities and regular business reviews for key markets and end‑user customers in the region.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Printing Technology, Materials/Polymer Science, or related field.
- 7+ years of B2B industrial sales.
- Current valid driver’s license.
- Fluent Italian.
- Strong business English (written and verbal).
- Strong track record of collaboration and cross‑functional teamwork.
- Customer‑first, outcomes‑oriented, organized, and reliable under deadline.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of Flexographic Printing or Printing Industry experience.
- Experience articulating value propositions and system‑selling and product demonstration experience.
- Experience developing and managing key accounts on a large geographic territory.
- Established network with Italian converters/printers, prepress houses, and OEMs.
Job Specifics
- Location: Italy
- Travel: up to 70%, regular travel across Italy to visit customers.
