Sales Representative Surgical - Lazio

POSITION SUMMARY:
Manage and develop the objectives of the Surgical BU which bases its main pillars in the minimally invasive surgery sector (MiniLap® Percutaneous Surgical System to Weck® Hem-o-lok® Polymer Locking Ligation System, and Weck EFx® Shield™ Fascial Closure System) and Stoma Care devices (as exclusive Welland distributor for Italy). The assigned territory will be Lazio region in collaboration with the current sales agents
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Owner of the sales process being responsible for the promotional activity on your territory.
· Identify and support field sales efforts through customer needs assessment, product training, in-servicing, and required customer follow up (i.e., letters, approved product information, samples).
· Constant presence and support in the operating room.
· Analyse the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.
· Reporting on territory sales result (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually).
· Participate in scientific and promotional activities at all identified local, regional, and national exhibitions (this may also include training and presentations).
· Work cooperatively with Corporate Accounts to support corporate customers (GPO’s, IDN’s, government facilities, etc.) with product information, product training, accurate cross-references and other technical information about Teleflex Medical products.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
· Educated to degree level in Healthcare or Nursing or with a proven equivalent work experience in the clinical specialty area, medical device sales or medical product training (as Sales representative/Territory Manager/Sales Specialist) this role would suit an individual with a minimum of 3 years’ experience selling into the laparoscopic market.
· Able to support Surgical procedures in the Operating room.
· Proven knowledge and relationship with main stakeholders within the territory: General Surgeons, Urologists, Gynecologists, Purchase Departments.
• Proven written and oral English knowledge – B2 level desirable.
• General proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
· Familiarity with CRM and sales tools.
· Preferably province based: Rome
SPECIALIZED SKILLS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
· Ensure that all sales activities adhere to relevant medical device industry and Company regulations and compliance standards.
· Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
· Ability to work with internal teams to resolve any operational or logistical challenges impacting sales.
