Darment is strengthening its European presence

As part of our steady growth, we are expanding our refrigerant business to cover several key European markets. This new role will help us serve and support our existing European customers more efficiently, improve local collaboration, and establish a solid, long-term presence in Italy as we continue to grow across the continent.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Representative to drive our refrigerant sales in Italy with the possibility of expanding to neighboring regions in the future. In this role, you will focus on strengthening relationships with existing key accounts and industrial clients and collaboratively identifying new business opportunities to support our continued growth in the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy for refrigerant products, focusing initially on the Italian market.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing wholesale partners in Italy, supporting their business and strengthening long-term partnerships.
  • Develop business opportunities and progressively broaden the customer base to major contractors as the market evolves.
  • Monitor market trends and gather competitive intelligence to identify new opportunities and threats.
  • Leverage findings from a comprehensive market study of the European refrigerant sector, to be completed in October, to refine strategy and prioritize target segments within Italy.
  • Plan and participate actively in the Chillventa 2026 trade fair, inviting prospective and existing clients to our stand and engaging in partnership discussions.
  • Travel as required to meet clients, attend industry events, and represent the company in the Italian market.

Qualifications

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in the industrial or refrigerant sector.
  • Strong understanding of the customer landscape within Italy, including key manufacturers, industrial players, and contractors.
  • Professional proficiency in Italian and English is required.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly within Italy and potentially to neighboring regions.
  • Professionalism and discretion in client relationship management, ensuring alignment with company interests and protection of key accounts.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of an international team.

• The Italian refrigerant market is estimated at approximately €100 million annually.

• Detailed insights into the Italian market will be available upon completion of the ongoing European market research in October.
