About the Role
I am working with an international client in the animal nutrition sector who is looking for a motivated Sales Representative to develop and grow their business in Italy, with a strong focus on the poultry and swine markets .
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow sales of specialty feed products in the Italian market.
- Identify customer needs and propose tailored technical-commercial solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with feed manufacturers, premix companies, integrators, and distributors.
- Support product trials with customers to demonstrate performance.
- Deliver technical presentations and provide on-site customer support.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulations to identify new opportunities.
- Manage sales contracts, negotiate agreements, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Regularly report activity and customer interactions through CRM.
Profile Requirements
- Degree in Animal Science or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ sales experience in animal nutrition , with knowledge of the poultry and swine sectors .
- Fluent in Italian and English .
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Motivated, proactive, and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
Bonus Structure (Simplified)
- Quarterly bonuses based on sales margin, target achievement, and product trials.
- Earn up to 12.5% of quarterly gross salary through margin and sales volume performance.
- Additional €1,000 bonus per validated product trial .
- Only the most favorable bonus applies each quarter, with trial bonuses always cumulative.
