THE GIG
We are seeking an exceptional Sales Operations Coordinator to join our team at the Milan Head Office on a fixed-term contract for maternity cover.
In this role, you will collaborate with our Sales, Logistics Distribution Centre, Supply & Demand, and Finance teams to provide operational support to our Wholesale partners in Italy. Fluency in both English and Italian is essential.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing daily activities and being the key contact for enquiries from customers, Sales Agencies, and other departments. Working closely with Sales, Logistics, and Distribution Centre teams to ensure timely handling of information, issues, and process changes.
- Ensuring customer queries, claims, and delivery issues are managed effectively, with measures in place to mitigate failures in Quality, Cost, or Delivery.
- Accurately inputting and maintaining customer orders within deadlines.
- Validating order details before confirmation and delivery, highlighting and resolving any issues.
- Releasing orders based on allocation, delivery requests, and company targets.
- Handling returns according to company guidelines.
- Reporting workload status to senior management and addressing issues.
- Maintaining customer master files and ensuring data governance.
- Coordinating with other departments to meet customer requirements and resolve queries, including liaising with the credit department.
- Working with warehouse, logistics, and carriers to ensure correct VAS execution, SLA adherence, and on-time delivery.
- Providing coverage for team members during absences and supporting workload adjustments.
- Supporting colleagues and departments as needed.

- Proven experience in B2B/Wholesale operations and logistics, preferably in the fashion industry or footwear brands.

- Fluent in Italian and English.

- High IT literacy, including ERP, CRM, and Microsoft Office.
- EDI literacy is a plus.
