We’re looking for a Sales Manager – Italy to accelerate our growth by developing strong relationships with Utilities and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) clients and closing high-value, technically complex deals in the renewable energy sector.

Overview

Role: Sales Manager for Italy focused on the Utility and C&I segments within the renewable energy sector. This position requires building a robust sales pipeline, managing the full sales cycle, and collaborating with marketing, pre-sales, and technical teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the Italian market and design an effective go-to-market strategy focused on the Utility and C&I segments.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities to build a robust and high-quality sales pipeline.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle — from initial outreach to contract negotiation, signature, and project delivery.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts, set clear goals, and consistently achieve or exceed targets.
  • Lead contract negotiations, support project execution, and ensure timely cash collection.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, webinars, and ecosystem meetups.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, pre-sales, and technical teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of sales experience in renewable energy (PV, energy storage, SCADA, or energy management solutions).
  • Fluent in Italian and English required
  • Deep understanding of the Italian energy market, including Utility & C&I projects, DSO/TSO regulations, EPCs, and system integrators.
  • Proven track record as a hunter with strong prospecting, qualification, and closing skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) for effective pipeline and account management.
  • Skilled at cross-functional collaboration to drive complex deal closure.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills for business planning, revenue tracking, and forecasting.
