We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead commercial development in the Verona region for a large leading global logistics organisation. The role focuses on driving new business, strengthening customer acquisition, and shaping the future commercial direction of the area. It requires a seasoned freight‑forwarding sales leader with a strong hunter mentality and the ability to deliver hands‑on commercial impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business across key verticals: Retail, Automotive, Fashion, and Food & Beverage, and more.
- Proactively identify, target, and acquire new clients.
- Manage core commercial KPIs including meetings, proposals, pipeline growth, new logo acquisition, and gross profit from new business.
- Partner with operations and senior commercial leadership to ensure seamless service and onboarding.
- Support the evolution of the regional sales function, including future identification and development of sales talent.
- Maintain accurate reporting and forecasting while contributing to improved commercial processes and strategy.
Role Context
- Verona currently requires a hands‑on sales leader , with strong individual contribution expected initially.
