About the Company

Our client is a financially strong, fast-growing international group operating across multiple

European markets. With over three decades of industry expertise, the business partners

with leading global brands and continues to expand its footprint in premium consumer

categories.

As part of its next growth phase, the company is investing in the Italian market, launching

two premium Small Domestic Appliance brands positioned for scale. This is a foundational

role within a newly developing market, offering genuine ownership and visibility at senior

level.


The Opportunity

This is a sales-led, market-building position focused on establishing and expanding the

presence of premium SDA brands across Italy. The role combines new business

development, category ownership, and structured commercial management.

In the initial phase, the priority is hunter-driven: defining the go-to-market approach,

opening key retail accounts, and building distribution from the ground up. As the customer

base grows, the role evolves into strategic account management.


Candidate Profile

- Minimum 2 years’ experience within SDA or closely related consumer electronics.

- Strong knowledge of the Italian SDA market and key retail players.

- Experience opening new accounts and building retail relationships.

- Understanding of retail shelf-based product dynamics.

- Experience with NPI, assortment planning and commercial negotiations.

- Analytical, results-driven and commercially focused.

- Fluent Italian and English.


Key Responsibilities

- Build and expand brand presence across major Italian retail channels.

- Lead all New Product Introduction (NPI) activities in Italy.

- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow market share.

- Create and manage product assortment matrices for key partners.

- Prepare structured commercial proposals and drive sell-out initiatives.

- Oversee inventory planning and replenishment using PSI / CPFR data.

- Manage pricing architecture and promotional planning with central teams.

- Take ownership of the local product category / product line.


Success Measures (First 12 Months)

- Establish market presence and define target customer base.

- Secure initial retail listings and repeat customers.

- Deliver revenue and gross profit contribution. - Maintain forecast accuracy and healthy stock management.

- Build scalable commercial foundation for year two growth.
