Our Client is a global leader in condition and safety monitoring solutions. Part of an international Group. With decades of experience securing rotating machinery in mission-critical applications, they are now expanding thier presence in the industrial sector in Italy— and looking for a highly driven Sales Manager/Business Developer to spearhead this growth journey and start up the italian market.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new-business sales activities with a strong hunter mentality.
- Identify, qualify and engage new customers across Fans, Pumps, Air Compressors, Mixers/Crushers/Sifters, and Process Equipment.
- Build a solid pipeline by targeting OEMs, industrial end-users, and distributors in Northern Italy.
- Position Client’s safety monitoring solutions vs. key competitors.
- Develop offers, deliver presentations, and negotiate contracts.
- Conduct market mapping, competitor analysis, and customer intelligence gathering.
- Collaborate with technical experts and product specialists.
- Represent the Company at industry events and exhibitions.
- Report pipeline progress and market insights.
Your Profile
- 5–10 years of B2B sales experience in the industrial machinery sector.
- Proven new-business development (hunter) background.
- Experience selling technical products to OEMs, end-users, or distributors.
- Strong understanding of rotating equipment or mechanical/electromechanical systems.
- Ability to engage stakeholders from engineers to senior management.
- Self-driven, structured, persistent, motivated by building new markets.
- Fluent in Italian and English
