This is an excellent opportunity for a commercial leader with strong industry knowledge, a proactive sales approach, and a solid network within the printing, converting, and packaging merchant sectors.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the sales strategy for Paperboard FBB and food packaging grades within Italy.Drive revenue growth across key accounts and strategic customers.Build and maintain strong relationships with carton converters, merchants/distributors and brand owners.Identify and pursue new business opportunities in adjacent segments (e.g., FMCG, food service packaging).Lead pricing, volume and service‑level negotiations.Monitor market trends, customer activity and competitor developments.Collaborate with regional and global APP teams to ensure best‑in‑class customer support.Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance reporting to senior leadership.RequirementsMinimum 4–6 years of sales experience in paperboard, folding carton, packaging board or other adjacent industries.Preference for an established network of customers in Italy, especially within converting and food packaging.Strong understanding of EU food‑contact packaging regulations.Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.Excellent communication, negotiation and account management skills.Self‑motivated, able to work independently, and willing to travel regularly across Italy.Fluency in Italian and English.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Packaging, Engineering or a related field preferred.Why Join APPJoin a global leader committed to innovation, performance and sustainability.
