A protagonist of the main strategic programs globally, it is a technological and industrial partner of Governments, Defense Administrations, Institutions and companies.Within the **Sales Defence Business** organizational unit of the Electronic Division, we are looking for a **Sales Manager** for our **La Spezia** office.The person will primarily be responsible for the following activities:* Development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve company objectives;
* Participation in preliminary meetings with Clients (Bidder Conference and/or dedicated meetings), in coordination with the relevant Marketing Manager, remotely and/or in person as needed, in order to correctly frame the commercial opportunity in terms of: scope of supply, requirements, delivery times, Client's available budget, etc.;
* Completion of contractual negotiation request forms, in collaboration with the Commercial, Legal, Trade Compliance UOs;
* Convocation of the Kick-Off Meeting to illustrate the Commercial opportunity to the Bid Team;
* Coordination of Offer preparation activities, in close collaboration with the reference Bid Manager: * Drafting of the Bid Plan * Conducting various Bid Team progress meetings * Drafting of the Executive Summary * Participation in Tender VET * Drafting of the Offer Letter * Collection of the entire offer package (Technical Proposals, Terms&Conditions, Compliance Tables, etc.) and delivery to the Client, according to the methods indicated in each specific commercial opportunity.* Coordination and interaction with internal functions (Engineering, Project Management, Procurement, Risk Management) to ensure adequate work progress, prevention of problems and definition of any recovery action plans;
* Negotiation meetingswith the Client, following the presentation of the Offer, as needed and in collaboration with the Bid Team resources, until the contract is signed;
* Participation in thecontinuous improvement process (process improvement);
in particular, continuous Self-Learning activity is required to progressively deepen knowledge of the products of the LoB Naval Armaments & Systems;
* Participation in company training activities for Marketing & Sales management processes.**Educational qualifications:*** Master's degree, preferably in STEM fields.**Seniority:*** **Senior**: 5-10 years of experience.**Knowledge and technical skills:*** Good basic preparation aimed at correctly managing and understanding technical and economic topics;
* Knowledge of ProjectManagement and Bid Management principles;
**Behavioral skills**:* Proactivity;
ability to intervene within the Team to mitigate conflict situations;
* Ability to work in ateam;
