The role

The impact you’ll have as Sales Manager Italy for our Fabriano Business. Reporting to the Head of Sales Italy Fabriano, your goal is to maximize sales results and further develop our market share across Retail & Wholesale Channels, providing superior customer service through the leadership of a skilled team of Sales Agents.

Responsibilities

  • Implement the growing strategy of our two brands: Fabriano and Magnani 1404.
  • Drive the result of our comprehensive ranges: School, Fine Arts, Print Making, Stationery.
  • Be part of a transformation journey for our sales organization implementing the Retail (Direct + Indirect) strategy, redefining the balance between sales done through wholesalers and sales done directly to stores.
  • Supervise and animate all the agents for Italy in this channel in coordination with our Head of Italy.
  • Be the front end with the agent teams, controlling the business flow according to the budget objective, support agents in special negotiations, and define and implement a tailor-made growing plan.
  • Be directly in charge of defining the annual sales plan.
  • Team up with the Head of Sales Italy to foster new categories and new store classes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with trade marketing and customer care service.
  • Perform sales data analysis to identify improvement opportunities and better planning.
  • Organize presentations to enhance sales effectiveness through sharing best practices.
  • Supervise collections and service levels.

Attitudes and skills

  • 7+ years of experience in a commercial role in B2C companies with strong customer focus and key accounts management.
  • Excellent sales skills dealing with entrepreneurial customers.
  • Experience managing a sales agents team.
  • Basic category management knowledge.
  • Ability to create effective and engaging presentations in PPT and present to an audience.
  • Good analytical skills with strong Excel knowledge; Power BI is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to lead customer negotiations and motivate agents.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive and passionate about innovation.
  • Proficient in Italian and English, both spoken and written.
  • Knowledge in paper for drawing and art purposes is preferable.
