The ideal candidate will be native in Italian and fluent in English and French, and will be fully responsible for developing the Italian market.

Job Description

We’re seeking a qualified Sales Manager (M/F) with deep experience in selling to the Italian market. As the first point of contact with prospects, the Sales Manager should have a strong understanding of the sales process, excel at researching leads, initiating and building relationships, and setting up sales for success. The ideal candidate is a quick learner with strong negotiation skills, a successful track record, and the ability to compellingly showcase our offerings. Every potential customer is an opportunity to boost revenue, customer acquisition, and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of company offerings and increase revenue and client acquisition in Italy.
  • Create and execute strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and ensure a strong presence in Italy.
  • Research markets and competitors proactively.
  • Identify prospects, schedule appointments, conduct qualifying sales calls, and manage the sales cycle to close new business across all service categories.
  • Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities.
  • Develop in-depth product knowledge, conduct demos, handle objections, and understand the technical capabilities of the CJ platform.
  • Lead pitches and client meetings, setting expectations.
  • Achieve objectives, monitor progress against KPIs, goals, and ROI.
  • Maintain operational rigor around pipeline and activities to drive efficiency and performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally within the organization to drive financial contributions and ensure a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years’ sales experience in a similar industry, with at least 2 years in the Italian market.
  • Excellent knowledge of online advertising and acquisition channels; affiliate expertise is a plus.
  • Proven success in penetrating new markets and acquiring customers.
  • Strong network and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Team-oriented, problem-solving, dynamic, proactive, with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in sales management software (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office tools.
  • Native Italian, fluent English, and good French (C1).
