Job Responsibilities
- Lead front-line sales efforts across Italy, engaging directly with OEMs, end users, and partners in industries such as Metal, Chemical, Pharma, Plastics, and related sectors.
- Manage a portfolio of strategic and mid-sized customers, identify business opportunities, and secure long-term relationships.
- Define and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed growth targets, adapting to market dynamics and customer needs.
- Conduct complex negotiations and close technical-commercial deals in collaboration with Application Engineers and Technical Support.
- Support and coach the Italian sales team to enhance customer engagement and sales performance.
- Monitor sales performance, pipeline, and market trends for accurate forecasting and planning.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, and Service teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Ensure CRM adoption and data accuracy for transparency, reporting, and improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Educational background in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, energy, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales management within multinational organizations, preferably in automation and drives/inverters.
- Deep knowledge of the Italian market, especially in Metal, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, and Plastics industries.
- Proven ability to manage complex negotiations and build strategic customer relationships.
- Results-oriented with a track record of achieving ambitious sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer management skills.
- Team-oriented with experience in managing distributed sales teams.
- Strong market analysis skills and proactive in identifying opportunities.
- Knowledge of CRM tools and reporting processes.
- Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
