Job Title:             Sales Manager

Location :             Milano, Italy


SUMMARY

This role is responsible for driving profitable sales growth in the food machinery industry across the European region by promoting Atlas, Luthi, MagnusonCCM value proposition, retaining existing clients, and developing new business. Activities are aligned with Regional Sales Management plans.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Maintain regular contact with existing customers to identify potential opportunities for new machines or upgrades, or to further enhance service opportunities

·        Engage with prospective customers to identify potential opportunities

·        Develop and maintain customer relationships at different organizational levels

·        Provide direct support and act as a knowledgeable point of reference for customers, ensuring satisfaction with performance (Quality and Productivity) and service standards

·        Understand customer markets, segments and Trends

·        Report to EU Managing Director regarding business, market status, and customer activities.

·        Attend and participate in industry trade shows and exhibitions

·        Work proactively with Service Manager, to leverage on provided services targeted to increase customer satisfaction

·        Ability to manage budgeting and projection activities in assigned region

HARD SKILLS

  • Previous industrial sales experience (3-5 years) in small-medium size organizations (food processing equipment is a plus but not mandatory)
  • Technical background in engineering or industrial technologies (non-specialized, but solid foundation)
  • Knowledge of CRM tools. Experience with Salesforce is a plus
  • Basic understanding of mechanical/electrical systems
  • Languages: Italian, English and Spanish required
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (30–50%)
  • Familiarity with international markets and business culture
