Program Overview
Accelerate the possible by joining a winning Amcor team that’s transforming the packaging industry and improving lives around the world. The next program will start in October 2026 and will contain 3 international rotations across Amcor plants & offices in Europe. The contract and first rotation will be based in Lugo, Italy.
Responsibilities
Get well‑rounded business experience, following the champion our customers approach. Deep dive into the packaging industry, understanding Amcor’s value proposition. Understand how the flexible packaging plant operates and support customers by working alongside the customer service team. Learn how to navigate market changes and its influence on sales by supporting the commercial team in activities like pricing, contract management, or business analytics. Get involved in the AI‑driven pricing project. Support marketing colleagues by leveraging sales knowledge to understand customer needs and translate them into insights and actions. Support the Global Key Account Manager in partnering with one of our most strategic accounts:
Build strong relationships. Craft compelling presentations and reports. Follow NBO/new projects implementation. Update sales actions pipeline (SFDC).
Qualifications
Master’s degree in sales management, business development, business administration, business management, international business, management or related fields. Up to 5 years of working experience in sales, customer service, commercial related positions (including internships). First experience working with customers (retail, consultancy, help desk, etc.). Fluency in English; proficiency in any additional European language is a plus. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; interest in digital tools appreciated. Some knowledge of Power BI or any CRM (e.g. Salesforce) is an advantage. Willingness to travel and work abroad across Europe. Flexibility & adaptability. Proactiveness and an outperformance mindset. Customer orientation. Collaboration skills & relationship building capability. Good listening skills & ability to understand customer needs. Curiosity. Full permanent work permit in the EU.
