Technical Sales Engineer
Value Stream is a recruiter specialised in search and selection of professionals and managers in the Industrial Automation market. On behalf of a multinational company specialised in sensors and connection system for industrial automation, we are looking for a:
The ideal candidate has a degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical diploma. He/She will, through his/her daily physical appearance and presence to clients, secure turnover and defined margins. He/She will do everything to position the company as the leading and sole provider for clients.
Key responsibilities
Identify the devices and special-purpose machine development process;
Identify potential projects (creation of new devices and/or special-purpose machines);
Participate in defining project specifications (aim to be the sole supplier) with the client engineering team;
Participate in cross-functional organization of actions with customers, integrators, and subcontractors;
Create and propose a price offer (quantity, price, transport conditions, payment conditions);
Monitor and negotiate quotations;
Train and inform integrators and subcontractors for devices and special purpose machines;
Monitor the life and execution of the project (plant, integrators, subcontractors);
Identify the client needs for spare parts;
Develop an alternative solution for equivalent products;
Create and propose a specific pricing policy;
Understand the sales and technical issues known by the client, to identify if it is possible to create a relationship through proper quotations, and linked with the engineering team;
Seek out, prospect for and develop new customers, possibly in conjunction with the sales assistant;
Monitor and develop new products in line with the market and the needs expressed by customers and prospects.
Requirements
Negotiation skills, commitment and high motivation in achieving results;
Technical knowledge in electronics and mechanics;
Knowledge of sensors is considered a plus;

Salary range:
50.000-60.000 €
