About the Role:
We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our Sales & Applications. In this role, you will act as the technical and commercial interface between customers and our engineering teams, supporting the entire sales cycle — from opportunity identification to solution definition and deal closure.
Main responsibilities
- Manage technical and commercial discussions with customers, understanding their needs and translating them into tailored solutions; analyze customer technical requirements and propose FlexLink solutions.
- Develop the market in Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, and Marche , with a strong focus on new business development.
- Manage and maintain the existing customer portfolio, ensuring business continuity and growth.
- Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to define quotations.
- Monitor the reference market and identify new business opportunities.
- Support the development of technical proposals, quotations, and feasibility analyses.
- Work closely with engineering, product management, and project teams to define optimal solutions.
- Ensure accurate documentation, CRM updates, and internal reporting throughout the sales process.
- Supporting trade fairs, customer events, and promotional activities.
- Participating in cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving sales tools, processes, and customer experience.
What You Need to Be Successful:
- Technical background or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in B2B commercial roles within industrial components, robotics, conveyor systems, or similar industries.
- Hands-on approach, strong organizational skills, and solid problem‑solving abilities.
- Good command of English (operational level).
- Strong commercial attitude with a focus on business development and long-term customer relationships.
- Availability for frequent travel across the assigned territory (approx. 80%).
