Role description
We are looking for a Sales Director to lead the commercial growth of K-FANS , the consumer division of the K-Sport Group.
The role will focus first on the Italian market, an ecosystem of over 50,000 semi-pro sports clubs and more than 1.5 million potential end users , before expanding internationally.
You will build and manage a territory-based sales structure , combining strong central digital activation with local events, partnerships and on-the-ground initiatives to drive adoption and sales.
You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with K-Sport’s technical and operational teams to ensure seamless delivery, support and product evolution.
This role requires a strategic, hands-on leader with experience in B2B2C, consumer tech or sport-tech , able to scale a sales network and turn a high-potential market into a commercial success.
Job Profile
- At least 5 year experience as a Head of Sales / Sales Director within sport-tech, consumer tech, retail or B2B2C environments.
- Strong ability to manage territories and develop multichannel sales networks.
- Skilled in balancing central digital strategies with local, on-the-ground commercial activities.
- Natural leadership, results-driven mindset, and the ability to build processes from scratch.
- Entrepreneurial attitude, fast decision-making skills, and the ability to lead diverse teams.
- Willingness to travel frequently across Italy and later to additional international markets.
- Excellent cross-functional coordination skills with technical and operational departments.
Operating Details
- Location: Switzerland (K-Sport / K-FANS Headquarters) with frequent travel in Europe
- Initial Priority Market: Swiss & Italy
- Reporting Line: Direct report to the Group CEO
- Internal Collaboration: Marketing, Product, Operations, Technical, Customer Support
- Ultimate Goal: Build and scale the K-FANS commercial division and drive international growth
- Salary: in line with best of the market including stock-option plan
