Role: Sales Area Manager – Central Europe
Location: Italy or Central Europe (Germany, Belgium, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Austria)

Position Purpose
The Sales Area Manager for Central Europe is responsible for developing and managing commercial activities across the assigned territories (Germany, Belgium, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Austria). The role aims to strengthen market presence, expand customer relationships, support distributors and contribute to the company’s growth objectives.
The position may be based either in Italy or in one of the target countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular customer visits to increase sales volume and market penetration
- Manage and develop relationships with direct customers and distribution partners
- Provide technical support and training to distributors and end users
- Collaborate closely with Product Management teams on new product launches and market introduction plans
- Prepare and maintain monthly sales forecasts and annual budget proposals
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the assigned Central European markets, including competitive landscape, pricing structure, and customer needs
- Build and nurture solid business relationships, particularly within German‑speaking markets
- Ensure alignment with company commercial strategies and reporting requirements.
Required Qualifications & Competencies
Education & Technical Skills
- Degree or diploma in a chemical or technical field
- Solid knowledge of MS Office tools.
Professional Experience
- Previous sales experience in at least one of the following sectors: adhesives, coatings, wood‑furniture technologies, packaging, or textiles
- Demonstrated ability to manage both direct customers and distributors.
Language Skills
- Proficiency in German and English (mandatory)
- Excellent command of French (mandatory)
- Knowledge of the local language, Italy (nice to have)

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of autonomy, organization and goal orientation
- Ability to develop long-term relationships and build trust with customers
- Problem‑solving mindset and adaptability to different markets
Mobility
- Availability for frequent travel across Italy and Central Europe.
Work Arrangement
- Hybrid working model .
- Initial training period at the company headquarters in Prata di Pordenone (PN), Italy .
Preferred Residence
Germany, Belgium, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Austria, or Italy (ideally within these regions).
