A leading company in the cogeneration and marine propulsion sector has engaged us to recruit a proactive Aftermarket Sales Specialist , based in Genoa office, to manage daily commercial activities for energy (land) and marine market clients. In this on-site role, you will report directly to the Head of Sales and act as the main commercial point of contact for customers—delivering top Aftermarket service, handling offers and orders, and supporting overall sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and send Aftermarket quotes and offers based on input from technical teams.
  • Act as the front-line contact for customers—addressing all service, spare parts, and contract inquiries.
  • Receive, review, and process customer orders, ensuring all commercial and technical requirements are met.
  • Support commercial management of service contracts, including documentation, updates, and internal coordination.
  • Keep customer portals up to date with all key information (offers, orders, contracts).
  • Help with invoicing and liaise with Finance to resolve billing and payment queries.
  • Ensure all commercial and contract documentation is accurate and compliant with company procedures.
  • Contribute to Aftermarket sales tracking and reporting in CRM systems.
  • Continuously improve Aftermarket commercial processes.

What You Bring
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a commercial, sales support, or customer-facing role in an industrial or technical environment.
  • Strong customer focus and clear communication skills.
  • Ability to translate technical information into customer-friendly commercial proposals.
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken).
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and organized.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office; experience with ERP/CRM systems and customer portals is a plus.
Nice to Have
  • Strong, structured personality and team player who can work independently.
  • Technical background or understanding.
  • Additional languages or international experience.
Education
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s in business, engineering, languages, or similar field.
