Who we are looking for

We are looking for a qualified Sales Account Manager to join our team in Rome or Milan. He/She will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and overseeing sales activities.

As a Sales Account Manager, he/she should work to satisfy customers’ needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience.

He/She should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented.

The candidate must be a brilliant, motivated, flexible and dynamic person, team-oriented and result-oriented with excellent negotiation skills who is able to carry interpersonal relationships and to dialogue and with proven ability to work within an international team.

RAL:

  • 28k - 35k , compensation will be commensurate with your skills and experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term successful relationships
  • Developing positive relationships and handling customers’ needs
  • Generating new sales using existing and potential customer networks
  • Act as the point of contact to handle customer service needs
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
  • Report on the status of accounts and related negotiations
  • In collaboration with the Sales Director, set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
  • Work closely with other company’s areas to improve internal processes and the overall customer journey

Background and experience:

  • 2–3 years of previous experience in a similar role
  • Proven hands-on experience in sales with the ability to deliver an excellent customer experience
  • A degree in Economics or Marketing is preferred
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage projects and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
  • Solid business acumen and a proactive, problem-solving attitude
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required
