About the Job

For a specialist software provider serving the textile, leather goods and footwear industry, we are seeking a Sales Account with a primary focus on managing and developing an existing customer base. This is a field‑oriented, relationship‑driven role responsible for nurturing current accounts, identifying new needs, and driving cross‑selling and up‑selling opportunities across the consolidated portfolio.

The position ensures continuity with long‑standing clients, supports the transition from outgoing sales resources, and strengthens commercial presence across key regions.


About the Role

We are looking for a hands‑on Sales Account who combines sector knowledge with strong commercial execution. You will manage a mixed portfolio of high‑value clients and a broader, high‑volume customer base, ensuring satisfaction, retention and incremental growth.

The ideal candidate has experience selling ERP or complex software solutions within textile, fashion, leather goods or adjacent manufacturing sectors. You will interact with multiple stakeholders (administration, management, ownership), understand project structures (data migration, analysis, training, go‑live), and translate customer needs into actionable proposals. The role requires autonomy, strong relationship‑building skills and the ability to operate effectively on the road.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop the existing customer base, ensuring continuity, satisfaction and long‑term retention.
  • Identify and drive cross‑selling and up‑selling opportunities, expanding the footprint of solutions within each account.
  • Act as primary point of contact for client needs, issues and escalations, coordinating internal teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Understand and explain the structure of software projects, including data migration, analysis, training and implementation phases.
  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders (administration, management, ownership, functional leaders).
  • Support commercial activities across multiple territories.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, Key Account Managers and senior management to shape proposals and commercial offers.
  • Participate in industry trade fairs and events to strengthen visibility and customer engagement.
  • Track and report account performance, commercial activities and contribution to MBO targets.
  • Monitor market trends and customer evolution within textile, leather goods and footwear manufacturing.


Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; degree in Business, Engineering, Economics or related fields preferred.
  • 5–8+ years of B2B commercial experience, ideally in ERP or complex software solutions.
  • Proven background in textile, fashion, leather goods, footwear or adjacent manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong understanding of production processes and project dynamics, or ability to learn sector specifics quickly.
  • Excellent consultative and relational skills, with experience managing multi‑stakeholder accounts.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize activities and operate effectively in the field.
  • Negotiation skills and commercial mindset; result-driven and structured.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across assigned regions; participation in trade fairs required.
  • Italian native or fluent; English appreciated.


Location

Hybrid model with high field activity and frequent travel.
