Position: Sales Account Executive

Location: Via Filippo Caruso, 23 – Rome

Annual Gross Salary: €23,000 – €25,000

Contract: Full-time (Monday to Friday, standard hours 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with 1-hour lunch break. One evening shift per week from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM)

Who we’re looking for

Octorate is looking for a motivated and proactive Sales Account Executive to join our growing commercial team in Rome.

You’ll be responsible for the entire sales process: from first contact and demo to closing the deal. The ideal candidate is confident, consultative, and tech-savvy – someone who understands the importance of building trust with hospitality professionals and helping them find the right digital solution for their business.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the full sales cycle: discovery, demo, follow-up, and closing
  • Handle inbound leads and proactively identify outbound opportunities
  • Tailor solutions and communicate the value of Octorate’s products
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Onboarding, and Support to ensure a seamless customer journey
  • Keep CRM data updated and contribute to pipeline forecasting
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitors
  • Occasionally represent Octorate at international trade shows and industry events

Minimum requirements

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable using CRM and productivity tools
  • Fluency in Italian, English, and Spanish (written and spoken)
  • Availability to work on-site at our Rome office (hybrid model)
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for exhibitions and trade fairs

Nice to have

  • Experience in SaaS or in the travel/hospitality industry
  • Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Pipedrive, or similar
  • Interest in digital transformation, automation, and AI
  • Previous experience conducting live product demos
