Descrizione dell'offerta
BionIT Labs is a cutting-edge MedTech company dedicated to transforming lives by integrating Information Technologies into Bionics. Our flagship innovation, Adam’s Hand, is the world’s first fully adaptive bionic hand. We specialize in developing advanced robotic systems that merge precision mechatronics, advanced electronics, sophisticated embedded software and bio-inspired control algorithms, focusing on creating intuitive, user-centric human-robot interfaces with seamless embodiment and natural dexterity.
As a Robotics Specialist, you will be a key contributor to the evolution of our bionic systems, focusing on the integration of advanced robotics, edge AI and NVIDIA-accelerated computing. You will design and implement intelligent robotic behaviors, perception pipelines and control strategies, leveraging NVIDIA Jetson platforms, Isaac ROS and modern AI frameworks to enable real-time, adaptive and intuitive interactions between the prosthetic device and the user. We are looking for a specialist who combines deep expertise in robotics software with strong skills in AI deployment at the edge and a passion for creating reliable human-centered robotic solutions.
Develop robotic control, motion planning, sensor fusion and closed-loop algorithms in C++/Python for embedded platforms.
Design and optimize ROS2-based middleware and communication layers for low-latency sensor-actuator-AI integration.
Integrate perception-planning-control stacks into the prosthetic system architecture.
Isaac Sim, Gazebo) using URDF models, and Hardware-in-the-Loop testing.
Ensure code quality, unit/integration testing and documentation compliant with MedTech standards (IEC 62304, ISO 13485).
Collaborate across teams and contribute to R&D on next-generation bionic intelligence.
3+ years in robotics software development (embodied AI or autonomous systems preferred).
~ Strong proficiency in ROS2, Isaac ROS, C++, Python; Practical expertise in edge AI deployment, computer vision and signal processing for robotics.
~ Knowledge of motion control, kinematics, sensor fusion, real-time embedded Linux.
~ Fluent in English and Italian.
~ Passion for clean, modular code, safety, reliability and user-centered innovation in regulated environments.
