We are looking for a
Regional Key Account Manager (RKAM) – Aerospace & Defense
to support business growth across Europe by managing a portfolio of strategic customers and developing new commercial opportunities within the Aerospace & Defense sector.
This is an active sales role with responsibility for defining and executing customer strategies, strengthening long‑term relationships, improving profitability and ensuring excellent customer service and performance.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic, credible and customer‑focused professional who can combine strategic thinking with strong commercial execution.
They will demonstrate integrity, sound judgement, excellent relationship‑building skills and a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Manage and strengthen relationships with strategic customers, developing a deep understanding of their needs and priorities.
Monitor account performance and lead Monthly Business Reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews.
Support RFQ processes and the implementation of new business opportunities.
Develop and execute customer strategies in collaboration with the Regional Sector Lead and European product leaders.
Drive cross‑selling and upselling opportunities across Contract Logistics, Air & Ocean, Ground and Rail services.
Contribute to the development of a high‑performing Business Development organisation, promoting a strong "One Team" approach.
Represent the company at customer meetings, exhibitions, trade fairs and industry events.
Manage the Key Account Book of Business and maintain a strong pipeline aligned with annual growth targets.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Business Management or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Strong understanding of the Aerospace & Defense market and its commercial dynamics.
Proven experience in a similar key account management or business development role, preferably within logistics or supply chain.
Established professional network within the relevant sector.
Demonstrated ability to develop new business and manage strategic customer relationships.
Strong negotiation, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Commercial mindset with a strong entrepreneurial and results‑oriented approach.
Ability to work effectively with international and cross‑functional teams.
Excellent written, verbal, presentation and facilitation skills.
French language skills are considered an advantage.
Willingness to travel across Europe and attend customer meetings and industry events.
