RIF. 3800: CFO


The CFO will be a key member of the Management Team operating in the strategic, financial, and operational management of the company, ensuring financial soundness, cost control, cash flow management, and relationships with investors, lenders and other financial institutions. Beyond these core responsibilities, the CFO will play an active role in value creation by identifying potential accretive investments, margin improvements, operational efficiency gains and growth opportunities. The manaager will lead the Finance & Administration function in a PE-backed, asset-heavy environment, actively contributing to growth plans, acquisitions, and process optimisation.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and implement the financial strategy in line with company objectives and PE fund requirements, supporting Top Management in strategic decisions, investment plans, M&A / bolt-on operations and active contribution to the value creation plan.
  • Oversee general accounting, statutory and management accounts across the entities, with a focus on weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for funds and the board, delivering accurate and timely reporting to the board and to Fund.
  • Preparation of budgets, forecasts, and multi-year plans, with variance analysis and support for operational and strategic decisions.
  • Monitor economic and financial KPIs (topline, margins, cash flow, ROI, leverage, DSCR).
  • Oversee pricing policies, revenue optimisation relative to asset capacity, commercial data analysis, and labour cost control, with effective seasonal workforce planning.
  • Manage and optimise liquidity and financial structure, including bank debt (financing and refinancing), covenants, and lender negotiations.
  • Coordinate with banks, credit institutions, investment funds, and external financial advisors.
  • Oversee tax and corporate compliance, internal controls and audit committee processes.
  • Develop and coordinate the Finance & Administration team, promoting efficient processes and PE-grade reporting systems.
  • Continuously improve internal processes and planning and control tools.


REQUIREMENTS

Degree in Economics, Finance, or related disciplines; MBA or Master’s is a plus.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in senior finance roles, gained in PE-backed environments, preferably multi-site, leisure/hospitality, or asset-heavy.
  • Experience supporting M&A / bolt-on transactions, from financial due diligence through to integration
  • Proven experience in weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting to investors or boards.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting, management control, corporate finance, taxation, and cash management.
  • Advanced financial analysis and economic modelling skills.
  • Excellent command of Excel and ERP systems.
  • Fluent English and Italian.
  • Leadership, authority, and business orientation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including with PE investors and credit institutions.
  • Pragmatic, hands-on, and results-oriented approach.
