⚡ First, Who


You are a highly specialized expert in radio frequency security with a strong R&D mindset. You possess deep problem-solving skills, excellent technical documentation abilities, and thrive in environments that bridge the gap between academic research and industrial application.


⚡ Then What


You will spearhead RF Security initiatives, focusing on the identification of attack vectors, vulnerability analysis, and the development of defense mechanisms. By leveraging Software Defined Radio (SDR) technologies, you will design, test, and document cutting-edge applications to secure wireless protocols and critical infrastructures.


Key Responsibilities


  • Conduct Research and Development activities focused on RF Security, including attack vectors, vulnerability analysis, and defense mechanisms.
  • Design and develop advanced RF applications using Software Defined Radio (SDR) platforms.
  • Contribute to the drafting of high-level technical documentation and research reports to detail experimental findings and results.
  • Utilize specialized laboratory instrumentation for rigorous RF security testing and analysis.


Key Requirements


  • Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or Computer Science (with 3+ years of experience in RF Security) or a PhD in the same fields (with 2+ years of experience).
  • Hands-on experience in designing and programming RF transceivers on SDR platforms (e.g., GNU Radio) using Python, C, and C++ .
  • Strong background in Network Security, Applied Cryptography, and formal protocol analysis tools.
  • Proven track record within either Academia (Research) or the Security Industry.
  • GIAC Assessing and Auditing Wireless Networks (GAWN) or Certified Wireless Security Professional (CWSP) is a significant plus.
