At Shakers , we’re looking for a RF / SDR Security Research Engineer to join a specialized Cyber Electromagnetic Research team working on advanced Radio Frequency (RF) and Software Defined Radio (SDR) security research .
This is a hands-on R&D role , focused on experimenting with RF protocols, identifying vulnerabilities and building prototypes using SDR technologies . You’ll work closely with senior researchers in a lab-driven environment.
What you’ll do
- R&D activities related to RF and SDR security
- Analysis of RF protocols, vulnerabilities and attack vectors
- Design and development of RF prototypes using Software Defined Radio
- Implementation of SDR solutions using GnuRadio
- Hands-on testing using RF lab equipment
- Support research activities related to electromagnetic and wireless security
- Technical documentation and research reporting
What we’re looking for
- Experience in RF security OR SDR-based security research
- Hands-on experience with Software Defined Radio (SDR) and GnuRadio
- Programming experience in Python and/or C/C++
- Familiarity with RF lab instrumentation
- Solid fundamentals in:
- Network security
- Applied cryptography
- Wireless protocols
- Good level of English
- Research mindset and ability to work in an R&D environment
