Mission

The Revenue Manager supports the hotel in maximizing room revenue, profitability, and market competitiveness through effective pricing, forecasting, and inventory management strategies. The role ensures optimal distribution across all channels and provides analytical insights to guide commercial decision‑making.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Revenue Strategy & Pricing


  • Implement daily pricing strategies aligned with hotel demand, market conditions, and revenue goals.
  • Optimize inventory and rate availability across all distribution channels.
  • Monitor competitor pricing and market trends to support strategic rate positioning.
  • Recommend tactical actions during low-occupancy periods and capitalize on high-demand dates.


Forecasting & Data Analysis


  • Prepare accurate short-, mid-, and long-term forecasts for rooms revenue, occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR.
  • Analyze booking pace, pick-up reports, segmentation mix, and business-on-the-books trends.
  • Provide performance insights to senior management to support decision-making.
  • Track key KPIs including RevPAR Index, ADR trends, channel mix, and conversion metrics.


Inventory & Channel Management

  • Manage daily inventory control, including restrictions, LOS strategies, and overbooking parameters.
  • Ensure rate parity and content accuracy across OTA extranets and brand.com.
  • Monitor channel performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
  • Support evaluation of new distribution partners and tools.


Collaboration with Sales & Marketing

  • Align revenue strategies with commercial activities.
  • Provide data for sales negotiations, group pricing decisions, and corporate RFPs.
  • Participate in weekly revenue/yield meetings.
  • Evaluate performance of promotions and packages.


Reporting & Communication

  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports.
  • Present results and opportunities during revenue meetings.
  • Communicate strategy updates and restrictions to relevant departments.


Technology & Systems

  • Optimize use of RMS, CRS, PMS, and channel manager tools.
  • Support troubleshooting and ensure data accuracy.
  • Stay updated on Hyatt tools and best practices.
