About the company

We are helping our client, a global air cargo organisation, to hire a Revenue Management Team Lead who will sit at the heart of its international air cargo network.


About the role

In this role, you will lead revenue management across an international network, driving demand forecasting, capacity steering, and pricing governance. You will act as the key interface between Network Planning, Pricing, Sales, and Business Development, ensuring alignment between commercial decisions and capacity strategy. You will shape the RM roadmap, build and lead a global team, and have the opportunity to significantly influence strategic commercial and network performance.


Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the Revenue Management strategy across all markets, products and customer segments to maximise revenue, yield and contribution.
  • Drive revenue optimisation by translating market signals, cost developments and network capacity changes into actionable commercial decisions.
  • Work closely with Network Planning to shape demand forecasts and convert them into capacity steering decisions, including prioritisation and optimisation of constrained capacity across the network.
  • Manage both tactical and strategic capacity decisions, including up- and down-gauging, to ensure the best use of available capacity across markets and channels.
  • Own pricing governance, including frameworks, rate structures and pricing corridors, and act as escalation point for complex pricing decisions and commercial trade-offs.
  • Partner with Sales and Key Account Management to support profitable growth through account planning, RFQs, tenders and clear commercial guidance.
  • Provide structured yield targets and steering principles to Sales teams to support consistent decision-making across the organisation.
  • Build and lead an international Revenue Management team, defining structure, KPIs and ways of working, while continuously improving tools, processes and decision frameworks.


Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in Revenue Management, Pricing or Commercial Strategy, ideally in air cargo.
  • At least one year of experience managing a multi‑disciplinary team.
  • Strong understanding of network economics, capacity management and yield optimisation.
  • Highly analytical and can turn data into clear strategic and tactical decisions.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders confidently and communicate effectively at executive level.
  • Strong commercial mindset with clear, structured communication skills.
  • High level of English
  • Education: BA in Economics, Industrial Engineering or a closely related field, or an equivalent relevant degree.


The position is based on site in Malta, and the successful candidate is expected to relocate.
