The Retail Manager is responsible for managing resources (people, investments, and costs) and coordinating activities within the assigned geographical area. The role aims to:

  • Ensure objectives are met in terms of quantity (budget, turnover, profitability) and quality (Brand Image).
  • Coordinate and manage allocated resources (people, investments, costs).

For DOS (Directly Operated Stores) or Concessions, the Retail Manager supports the Retail Director in defining and implementing the Brand's commercial strategy, in accordance with business objectives. They are also directly responsible for the Profit & Loss of the assigned stores, including store staff.

Qualifications

  1. Support management in defining the strategic plan (openings, renewals) by identifying opportunities both quantitatively (business objectives) and qualitatively (brand image and philosophy) for the assigned area.
  2. Implement the strategy at an operational level and monitor its correct execution to maximize sales objectives (budget, turnover, profitability) according to company guidelines and management instructions.
  3. Supervise and interpret commercial information (both quantitative and qualitative). Identify risk areas through KPI evaluation to ensure target achievement.
  4. Assist the Commercial Director / Retail Director in defining store budgets within the geographical area of responsibility.
  5. Supervise and control the Retail channel, managing store activities to meet qualitative and quantitative targets, covering areas such as Retail Supervising, Buying, VM, Store Planning, and Retail Marketing.
  6. Manage, coordinate, and control assigned resources (people, costs, investments).
  7. Encourage the development of skills through proactive, team, and digital activities aimed at innovation and improving effectiveness and efficiency.
  8. Promote the use of digital technologies within the function, both for process management and interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
  9. Adopt and promote behaviors and actions aligned with Sustainable Development, focusing on environmental care, business process improvement, and community engagement.

Additional Information

Requires:

  • At least 5 years of experience in similar retail management roles.
  • English proficiency at B2/C1 level, both written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical skills and data interpretation ability.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
