The Recipe for Success: Role Summary

As Retail Manager Italy, you will drive the retail strategy and sales results, leading the retail teams while ensuring strong financial performance. You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional consumer experience and effectively implementing the company’s strategies.

Ingredients: Key Responsibilities

  • Retail strategy
    • Define and execute the overall retail strategy and objectives for Le Creuset, across own retail channels, ensuring brand equity growth, market share increase and adherence to budget.
    • Make active use of data and KPIs to shape and achieve the retail strategy.
    • Actively explore opportunities to expand the brand’s retail footprint. Oversee openings and closures to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
    • Negotiate for improvements in space, location and commercial conditions to strengthen Le Creuset’s presence.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on in-store activities, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Leadership of the Retail organization
    • Manage the retail teams through exemplary leadership, setting the standard for excellence.
    • Monitor and improve sales processes, team members and structures, identifying organizational changes, when needed.
    • Design and implement incentive programs to enhance skills and performance.
    • Develop, energize, and motivate teams to achieve business goals.
  • Financial Accountability
    • Create and meet accurate, ambitious Sales Forecasts for retail, in line with approved budgets.
    • Ensure profitability in all locations and track KPIs such as sales growth, ATV, UPT, footfall, etc.
    • Develop, define, and standardize store operational processes to ensure efficiency and excellent sales results across locations.

The Perfect Blend: What We’re Looking For

  • 8–10+ years of experience in retail and commercial roles in Italy, preferably within a premium or branded retail environment.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high‑performing teams.
  • Hands‑on, results‑driven approach combined with a solid strategic mindset and active involvement in key processes.
  • Deep understanding of retail operations and strong affinity with premium brand execution and standards.
  • Proven ability to drive change, manage complexity, and work collaboratively across functions.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel and PowerPoint), ERP systems (e.g. Dynamics 365/AX), Power BI, and holding a valid driving license.
