Restaurant Manager (m/f/d)

Duties

• Manages and motivates personnel; provides daily employee training
• Complies with hygiene and quality standards and checks the quality of the food and beverage offered, as well as of the buffet
• Welcomes guests and shows them to their seats
• Smooth service operations at the various restaurant outlets
• Consults with F&B, bar, and kitchen for day-to-day business
• Prepares the restaurant menu and the pricing together with the F&B manager
• Supervises and maintains the various outlets in terms of cleanliness and tidiness
• Is responsible for the usage of beverage materials at the restaurant
• Prepares wine and special menus
• Adheres to and reviews the ongoing restaurant budget and the labor costs for the department
• Optimizes sales in the restaurant area by means of upselling

Your profile

• Several years of work experience in a comparable position
• Completed vocational training in the hospitality / restaurant field
• Knowledge of German is mandatory and English is required; additional languages are desirable
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Thorough knowledge of wines
• Experience managing and motivating employees
• A passion for making guests feel special; perfect service
• Genuine, compelling, and engaging demeanor
• Strong focus on sales

Compensation is based on the collective agreement for the hotel and hospitality industry, with a clear willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and experience.
