The Sales & Marketing division of Randstad Professional, specializing in the search and selection of Middle and Senior Management, for an important company operating in the Hospitality sector, is looking for a:
Restaurant Manager
The resource will be responsible for managing the restaurant, reporting directly to the General Manager. Specifically:
- Oversee and ensure the smooth and profitable entire restaurant operation.
- Manage financial performance by controlling costs and developing revenue-increasing initiatives.
- Lead and delegate responsibilities to captains and staff, ensuring consistent achievement of objectives and excellent service.
- Promote business’s culture and values while managing operations with integrity and knowledge.
- Maintain and exceed standards for food quality, safety, and cleanliness.
- Effectively manage staff issues, discipline, and performance (including coaching, feedback, and necessary retraining).
- Provide a positive guest experience by ensuring high service levels and exceeding expectations.
- Review operations and staff to identify opportunities for improvement and implement creative solutions.
- Ensure full adherence to company policies (including POS system knowledge) and all regulatory requirements (Fire, Food Hygiene, Health & Safety, Licensing).
Requirements and Skills
- 5+ years of experience in luxury restaurant management.
- A degree in Hospitality or Business is preferred.
- Fluent in English. Knowledge of Arabic will be considered a plus.
- Leadership and strategic thinking.
- Strong organizational and and decision-making skills.
- Financial reporting, P&L management.
- Proficient in MS Office and Micros POS system.
Workplace: Rome
