We are seeking a talented and dynamic individual for the position of Restaurant General Manager in Milan. This role is ideal for a high-performing professional passionate about excellence and organizational growth. The successful candidate will oversee food, service, health & safety standards, ensure operational efficiency and profitability, and ensure legal compliance.

What do we look for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • At least 15 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in fast-paced environments such as hospitality or food & beverage services
  • Proven expertise in managing high-performing hospitality venues
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with a focus on team development
  • Strategic operational approach with financial management and business development understanding
  • Excellent communication skills to build relationships with guests, suppliers, and staff
  • Passion for food, beverages, and hospitality, with a focus on quality
  • Multitasking and time-management skills
  • Fluency in Italian and English

What will you work on?

  • Ensure adherence to Nusr-Et’s service standards, including food presentation and guest interaction
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
  • Lead by example on the floor, demonstrating strong presence in service and operations
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize profitability
  • Ensure legal compliance and stay informed of relevant laws
  • Drive recruitment, training, and performance management to develop a skilled team
  • Develop and lead the team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork
  • Collaborate with marketing to increase footfall, revenue, and brand awareness
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and ensure high standards of service
  • Maintain high standards of quality, hygiene, and safety
  • Manage stock, suppliers, and inventory to reduce waste and improve efficiency
  • Communicate with suppliers and manage contracts effectively
  • Serve as the key liaison between the restaurant and senior management
