Residential Assistant Director of Engineering

**About the role:** The Engineering Manager is an integral part of the Engineering Team, who will handle preventative maintenance of all hotel equipment. They will possess the basic knowledge to diagnose and handle all repairs of equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers, and associated equipment throughout the entire building. In addition, they will have knowledge on repair and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, refrigeration & HVAC, kitchen equipment, painting & decorating.- Oversee and manage engineering projects, while also ensuring the completion of all duties related to the residences, including maintenance, repairs, and coordination of resident requests. -High school education or equivalent experience Trade school in mechanics, refrigeration, etc.-2-5 years of related Engineering experience -Previous Experience in a luxury Resort setting is preferred and trade education is a plus -Previous experience managing an Engineering/Maintenance Team in a hospitality setting -The ideal candidate will have knowledge of operation and maintenance of swimming pools and Jacuzzis -Excellent communication skills -Strong analytical and critical thinking skills -Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills -Good written and verbal communication skills -A working technical knowledge of general building maintenance -Requires knowledge of blue prints, wiring diagrams and hydraulics -Ability to read and speak and write English. -Requires a working knowledge of division operations as well as Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures. -This position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.Day and evening shifts.
