Overview This is a full-time, on‑site Reservations Manager role based at San Clemente Palace Venice. The Reservations Manager oversees daily operations of the reservations department, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of individual and group bookings across all channels. The role manages room inventory and rate plans, coordinates with Sales, Front Office, and Revenue Management to optimize occupancy and revenue, and ensures all reservations information is correctly recorded in the system. Responsibilities

Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, modify or cancel bookings as needed, and resolve reservation issues. Prepare reports, monitor performance metrics, implement standard operating procedures, and train and coach team members to deliver consistent, high‑quality service.

Qualifications

Strong reservations management skills, including handling individual and group bookings and managing room inventory. Proficient with hotel reservation and PMS/CRS systems; proficiency with standard office applications (e.g., MS Office). Proven customer service and communication abilities, with a focus on professional, clear, and courteous interactions with guests and internal stakeholders. Sales‑oriented mindset with experience in upselling, cross‑selling, and supporting revenue and rate strategies to maximize occupancy and RevPAR. Experience in training, coaching, and developing team members, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance work environment. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to analyze data and reports, identify trends, and support data‑driven decision‑making. Prior experience in a reservations or front‑office leadership role within luxury or upscale hospitality is highly preferred. Fluency in English and Italian required; additional language skills, especially Italian, are an advantage. Knowledge of Opera System.
