Reservations Agent

San Clemente Palace Venice is looking for a Hotel Reservations Agent based in Venice

QUALIFICATIONS

• Good command of Italian ad English
• Knowledge of French and German are a plus
• Good Opera PMS knowledge
• Previous experience in a 5 Star luxury hotel
• Previous customer related experience
• Very good communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office progams
• OTA extranet knowledge
• Highly responsible and reliable
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs
• Residence permit in Italy

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review daily reservation accuracy, rate compliance from segment and source, system close-out when necessary and rate availability.
• Ensure clients’ satisfaction and adherence to hotel's service standards.
• Follow internal credit policy.
• Follow up on lost business and bring information about them to the knowledge of the department superiors.
• Spot-check reservations made the previous day and check all VIP arrivals.
• Responding and making test calls, fulfilling LQA
