A new icon is rising in the Eternal City: Corinthia Rome is preparing to open its doors in one of the most prestigious and historic locations in the city — and we are looking for outstanding Reservations Agents to join our pre-opening team.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to create a remarkable Reservations team!

Our Reservations Agents will report to the Reservations Manager and synergically liaise with the other colleagues of Sales & Marketing department.

Our Reservations Agents are responsible for actively converting rooms and suites’ enquiries into confirmed business, whilst providing an exceptional call experience to all callers. Our Reservations Agents’ demeanour will reflect the quality of the Hotel to our potential guests: both individual and groups’ requests.

A positive and professional attitude, high emotional intelligence, a deep knowledge of our luxury property and a strong attention to details are traits which our Reservations Agents are required to have.

What you’ll focus on

• Providing exceptional call experiences to all callers by collecting all useful information, being efficient and intuitive during the call process and trying to maximize Hotel revenue in compliance with LQA and Forbes standards, Corinthia SOPs and goals (conversion ratio, mystery shop calls etc) …
• Adopting a sales-oriented approach, maximizing sales, occupancy and room rates as well as selling all services of the Hotel,
• Maintaining and updating Guests’ profiles information and illustrating all the facilities and outlets of the Hotel, providing exceptional guest recognition,
• Inputting and updating reservations from all booking channels, including all relevant information such as any special requests or requirements to communicate to relevant departments,
• Identifying regular Guests and communicating details to Sales team for follow up,
• Producing high results through active involvement with fellow Reservations agents whilst maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude,
• Working closely with the Reservations Manager to develop a strong and efficient reservations process and delivering outstanding Guest experience from the first phone contact,
• Being alert about sales opportunities with a proactive approach to daily Reservations department activities, anticipating potential opportunities to improve the overall efficiency and profitability of the department,
• Keeping abreast of trends & innovations within the Luxury Hospitality and the Local market,
• Keeping a complete knowledge of all suites, hotel facilities and promotions as well as the local area and closest competitors,
• Sharing improvement ideas with the Reservations Manager, working together as a team to build a success Reservations team,
• Collaborating synergically both within Reservations and other departments to resolve any issues efficiently and keeping the smooth running of the Hotel operations at all times.

Who we are looking for:

• At least 2-3 years of experience as Reservations Agent preferably within Luxury hospitality,
• Proven experience in Opera Cloud is preferable,
• Proficiency in Italian and English (written and spoken),
• LQA and Forbes standards’ deep knowledge is a great plus,
• Shifts in national holidays and on Saturdays on rotation need to be worked,
• Sales approach and strong interpersonal and organizational skills,
• High emotional intelligence and ability to anticipate potential guests’ desires and needs,
• A proactive, collaborative and team working mindset in addition to flexibility, time management, confidentiality and high attention to details are a must,
• Legal right to work in Italy.
